1st Saturdays Music at Bixby Park, a new monthly event focusing on highlighting local musical talent, theater, and other performance groups to perform at the Historic Bixby Band Shell held its inaugural event earlier this month. The next musical installment will take place September 6 from 5pm to 8pm.
The 2014 Event Schedule continues September 6, October 4, and November 1, 2014.
Eric Gray Co-founder of the Long Beach Music Council and Board Member of Friends of Bixby Park says “Long Beach has a growing and vibrant music scene with a wide variety of local musical talent. Our intent is to showcase this talent to the greater Long Beach community. We feel the Historic Bixby Park Band Shell is a great space to activate with vibrant local performances.”
